About the Author
Hi! I'm Michelle. I made the decision to go vegan in 2009 and haven't looked back since. In the early days, it wasn’t easy. I missed time with friends because I didn’t know how to deal with social situations that involved food. At times, I struggled to figure out what to eat so I would feel full. I was frustrated at holiday dinners.
More than years later, I've looked back and realized where I went wrong and what I wish I knew then that I know now. I've spent time thinking about all of the vegan hacks and skills that can make this transition easy for you. I do this work, because I want to help everyone go vegan (or just eat more vegan meals) - for the animals, the earth, or their health - with ease and minimal frustration.
I also consider myself a foodie. I love to eat good vegan food. I even had a vegan cooking channel on YouTube for a few years.
This lifestyle is not about deprivation, missing out, or being bored. It's about expanding your options, embracing the expansive world of plants, and making them delicious.
